SIDESHOW is a Burning Man Theme Camp, established in 2013 that brings a taste of the traditional American travelling sideshow to Black Rock City. Highly interactive and visually engaging, SIDESHOW is a fully immersive environment. The look and feel is of the old time shows from the 30s to the 50s, but with a decidedly burner twist. Daily afternoon shows feature human oddities, freaks and curious creatures, while evening shows present renown magicians assured to amaze baffle and bewilder! You too can be a part of the show.
The Odditorium of Playa Wonders assembles the finest collection of abhorrent nature, guaranteed to spur the pious to question the very nature of God!

For 2017, SIDESHOW brings back old favorites and introduces NEW talent, NEW acts, NEW freaks! We invite the good citizens of Black Rock City to pass through the doorway and experience the fun, the creativity and the talent that is SIDESHOW- The Carnival of Smoke and Mirrors!

What is SIDESHOW??? Looky looky looky!!!!
So, what is SIDESHOW? Imagine a slightly creepy, turn of the century travelling sideshow with steampunk undertones that sets up for a week in Black Rock City... with an odditorium of geeks, freaks and mistakes of nature on display for the amusement and astonishment of the citizenry. All FREE, on the inside, with your ticket to Burning Man!!!
The look and feel of the camp will take classic sideshow elements like those of Coney Island, and blend in a seedy late 19th century circus- formed to the location and sensibilities of Black Rock City (BRC). The crew of the camp is made up of very experienced theme camp creators, performers and developing acts. The camp will also be seeking out roaming thematic performers and acts in BRC, providing a venue in which to thrill of bewilder an audience. Specific times in the week will be set aside for signature sideshow acts specially developed for the occasion, featuring the finest assemblage of the mysteries of man and nature!!! Care should be taken for those with weak constitutions, as the sights may well result in fainting, swooning and fits of fright or tremors among the audience! Don't miss the "Odditorium of Playa Wonders", filled with baffling exhibits that will leave you flummoxed and amazed.
